USAGE INSTRUCTIONS:
- Clean or replace bearings. Before applying Kem-A-TrixTM 2432 Bearing Gel, thoroughly clean the bearings to remove traces of conventional greases, to avoid any incompatibility problems. Even new bearings should be cleaned of any slush or oils, and the cleaning solvents allowed to completely evaporate before applying Kem-A-TrixTM 2432 Bearing Gel.
- Do not overfill bearing. Pack rolling elements as with conventional greases, fill only to about 30% full. Overfilling can cause failure due to over-heating and wear.
- Allow machinery to run to operating temperature. Kem-A-TrixTM 2432 Bearing Gel will remain a clean translucent yellow to 250ºF (121ºC), above this temperature it changes to a light brown color and develops a resilient consistency ensuring it would not melt, drip or run out, under conditions of high temperature, high shear or high load.
- To top up, simply add. Because Kem-A-TrixTM> 2432 Bearing Gel delivers extended service life (on average 10 times longer than conventional lubricants), adjust lubrication schedule to benefit from this important product feature.
- Use recommended NLGI viscosity grade. NLGI viscosity grade numbers 1 and 2 are standard; other viscosity grades are available on special order. Consult Kem-A-TrixTM or distributor.
